THE STORY OF US
Spring 2018
We first met at a frat party during our freshman year at UC Berkeley when Madison playfully went up to Wavid to tell him that he looked just like Peter Pan. That chance encounter sparked a close friendship, and just a few months later, we had our first date scheduled to go to Berkeley's finest, Top Dog, at midnight.
We soon adopted a cat, rented an apartment, and painted the walls pink—just in time for COVID to hit. While everyone else went home, Madison graduated early and set off for culinary and pastry school in France, bringing Wavid and our cat along for the adventure. During this time, Wavid finished his Berkeley classes online.
In France, Wavid was accepted into UCLA for his Ph.D. in economics, and Madison followed him right back home to California. We've since built our dream life together, adopting another cat, practicing hot yoga, and always cooking up something delicious together.
A year ago, we bought our first home together, and we couldn’t be happier. Our love story continues to grow with every passing day, and we are truly so excited to be able to share it with you this coming May.

The color palette is inspired by spring itself: fresh, lively hues that celebrate the season’s vibrance. It’s the perfect occasion to embrace refined femininity and let your inner glam shine.
For those who prefer suits...
Think elevated garden party meets timeless sophistication. Lighter and fun colors are encouraged—soft pastels, light neutrals, or even bold, spring-inspired tones are all welcome and celebrated. But don’t worry, we won’t hold it against you if your go-to is a classic black suit. The goal is to feel polished yet relaxed, with a touch of personality that matches the festive, high-end vibe of the day.

NO. OUR VENUE HAS KINDLY AGREED TO HOST US UNDER THE CONDITION THAT NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS ARE TAKEN/CIRCULATED ONLINE. WE ALSO FEEL IT IS IMPORTANT FOR EVERYONE TO BE FULLY PRESENT AND ENJOY THE MOMENT, SO WE KINDLY ASK YOU TO PLEASE PUT YOUR PHONE AWAY. THERE WILL BE A PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER PRESENT, AND WE WILL HAPPILY SHARE ALL THE MEMORIES CAPTURED ONCE THEY ARE AVAILABLE.
CAN I BRING A DATE?
DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE THOSE GUESTS FORMALLY INVITED ON YOUR WEDDING INVITATION.
WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND?
WE UNDERSTAND THAT ASKING YOU TO FLY TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD IS A BIG ASK! IF YOU'RE UNABLE TO ATTEND, WE COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND AND STILL LOVE YOU. WE HOPE TO CELEBRATE WITH YOU ANOTHER TIME.
